A new year has started, full of new possibilities and new adventures! The next big thing in our tango lives is the Tango Festival Frostbite in Helsinki in 16.-19.2.2017!!! We will be teaching and performing there with a wonderful group of teachers and dancers. Join us for a weekend of fun and tango! We hope to see many friends there!!!

Tervetuloa argentiinalaisen tangon intensiivikursille! Maailmantango-festivaalin yhteydessä järjestetään tuttuun tapaan peruskurssi, jossa opettajina on Maria Elisabet ja Pasi Laurén. Heillä on yli kymmenen vuoden kokemus argentiinalaisesta tangosta, ja he ovat kansainvälisesti tunnettuja opettajia ja esiintyjiä. Yhdessä he ovat opettaneet vuodesta 2005 alkaen.

Peruskurssi pidetään Telakan 2. kerroksessa la 17.9. klo 11-14 ja su 18.9. klo 12-14. Yhteensä 5 tuntia opetusta, jonka aikana tutustutaan argentiinalaisen tangon perusaskeleisiin ja musiikkiin. Aikaisempaa tanssikokemusta ei tarvita, kurssilla lähdetään liikkeelle perusteista.
Voit myös tulla kertaamaan argentiinalaisen tangon perusteita, tai harjoittelemaan uutta roolia viejänä tai seuraanaja. Kurssi sopii erittäin hyvin myös tanssijoille joilla on kokemusta muista paritansseista.

Welcome to the beginners course of Tango Argentino! Once again we organize an intensive weekend workshop of this lovely dance in co-operation with the World of Tango Festival. In two days we will cover the basics of Argentine tango, so that you can enjoy the festival concerts also by dancing! No previous experience in dancing is needed.
The course is also perfect for dancers who have experience in other couple dances, and why not for perfecting the basic steps.
5 hours of teaching in total: Saturday 17.9. at 11h-14h and Sunday 18.9. at 12h-14h. Price 50 euros per person, student price 40€ per person. Registration in couples before 11.9. by e-mail info@pasiymaria.net. Bring comfortable clothes and slippery shoes. The classes are at Telakka 2nd floor.

In two weeks we have the pleasure to take part in the biggest tango festival in Finland, Seinäjoen Tangomarkkinat! On Friday 8.7. there is the big concert, “Tango Liikuttaa”, where we will dance with a group of talented dancers and friends! This concert will be on tv in Autumn. Hello friends in Finland and all over the world!!! We had the pleasure to dance on our national television this weekend, and you can watch the program all over the world!!! The program is the semifinals of the famous tango singing competition of Seinäjoen Tangomarkkinat, the biggest tango festival in Finland! Our dance is right at the beginning of the program, we dance to the song of the Tango King and the Tango Queen of 2015! The new competitors present a good selection of traditional and modern Finnish tangos. Take a peak into the Finnish tango world!!! 40 sekuntia… 30 sekuntia… 10 sekuntia… Oli jännittävää odottaa livelähetyksen alkua – seisoimme Ylen studion kiiltävällä lattialla, yleisön joukosta ystävät alkoivat vilkuttaa, muistin kaikki ystävät ja perheenjäsenet jotka sillä hetkellä odottivat television ääressä ohjelman alkua – oli suuri ilo saada olla juuri sillä hetkellä juuri siinä!!!
TANGOMARKKINOILLA NÄHDÄÄN!!!
The Spring season in Tampere has been beautiful! Tango aMoroso has kept us busy: the classes have been running smoothly, TamPerla Festival in February was amazing, and the Spring season ended in the lovely HelaTango Festival. This weekend we had the pleasure to welcome the great maestros Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte as guests of Tango aMoroso, and once again we had a great time with workshops, friends and asado!
Now we are looking forward to the Summer season! Check out our schedule, and join us at festivals and dance camps! We will be performing at the big tango festival Tangomarkkinat in Seinäjoki! And we will be traveling to a couple of tango marathons, just for the pleasure of social dancing! And we will fit in some lavatanssi evenings, too… Have a great summer, and see you on the dance floor!
